Pleasant Sunday Afternoons

The genteel occuption for the enquiring mind on a quiet afternoon. This lecture series will return with the 2019 Spring series.

All Pleasant Sunday Afternoon talks are from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

No booking necessary, no admission charge, just a donation box.

31st March - 'Treasures of Norfolk Discovered Underground' by Kevin Elfleet

14th April - ‘In Search of the Hanse – Lübeck, Visby and Novgorod' by Peter Stibbons

28th April - 'The Seven Towns of Marshland' by Bryan Howling

Hanse Festival - History & Archaeology Symposium

To celebrate King's Lynn's Hanse Festival the Trust's annual Symposium will be held on Saturday 11th May.

2-3pm - 'Margery Kempe of Lynn: Networking in Europe in the Fifteenth Century' by Professor Anthony Bale

3:30-4:30pm - '1358-1669: 300 Years of Hanse Assemblies – their End and Heritage' by Dr Angela Huang

Tickets for this event will be £5 (this includes entry to both talks) and will be available from True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum (01553 770479 or info@truesyard.co.uk) or on the door.
